Mr. Ahmed Saleh Baabood
Ahmed Saleh Baabood is an Omani national who is a graduate in Business Administration & Finance and holds a Masters in Economic and Social Studies. Ahmed is an active Member of the Oman Chamber of Commerce & Industry, where he heads up the Investment & Promotions Committee for the Chamber. Ahmed has been involved in the Exhibitions and Event Industry for the past 22 years. He is the first elected 1st Vice Chairman for the Middle East & Africa region and Board Member of the Union des Foires International (UFI) and currently is the vice chairman of the International Association of Exhibitions & Events (IAEE). In 2005 he was awarded the Oman’s Entrepreneur of the Year award, which was the first of its kind to be given to the Exhibitions Industry. Ahmed, manages and sits on the board of several companies in Oman and the Gulf. Currently he is the Executive Chairman Musact Expo. He is also involved with several companies within the IT & Telecoms sector, electrical trading and electro mechanical projects in the Gulf and is a Board Member of Baabood LLC, Apex International Technologies & Projects LLC

Dr. Amer Awad AL Rawas
Dr. Rawas is the Chief Executive Officer of Tasneea Oil & Gas Technology Group. Prior to his current post, he served as the Chief Executive Officer of Oman Telecommunications Company (OmanTel) and earlier was the Managing Director of Oman Mobile Telecommunications Company (Oman Mobile). Before his joining the Telecom Sector, Dr. Rawas served in various academic and leadership positions at the Sultan Qaboos University (SQU) the flagship university in Oman. His last assignment was the Dean of Educational Services. Earlier to that he was the Director of the Center for Information System where he led the transformation of the role of ICT in the university. Dr. Amer Al Rawas is the current Chairman of MELA (Middle East Leadership Academy), a non-government leadership community serving the whole of Middle East providing leadership, training, networking, and inspiring the young leaders across the Middle East. Dr. Rawas is still serving in various educational and technological policy forums in the Sultanate and the region, these include: • Chairman of Middle East Leadership Academy • Chairman of Oman Society for Petroleum Services • Member of the Education Council. • Member of Oman Academic Accreditation Authority.

Saleh is a leading Agribusiness professional with more than 29 years in public and private sector in the world of project development,strategic planning and execution.since graduation(1987) from Iowa State University,Ames,IA.USA,he supervised and co-lead a number of key national projects which include,inter alia, Salhalnut Dam,DG of Ag HQ,Nejd Agriculture master plan supervised and executed by JICA of Japan,the FAO-Oman reforestation program in the mountains of Dhofar. Saleh was a founding director and first chairman of Asaffa Poultry(now renamed Asaffa Foods).Asaffa was the largest integrated poultry project in Oman and was instrumental in making Oman as a leading poultry producer .Hed lead a team of Omani and international experts who made it possible to set one of the most successful food brands in region. Mr. Fawzi Al Harrassy is the Executive Director of Teejan Group. He holds a bachelor degree in business with emphasis on Information Technology. Mr. Fawzi brings with him expertise from many prestigious positions including PDO and Microsoft. He provides oversight in the operational matters of all business units for Teejan Group. He provides leadership and direction for Teejan group while maintaining and reinforcing the corporate culture.

Hani Al Zubair has extensive knowledge and experience in financial, investment and business management areas. In addition to his role in The Zubair Corporation, he is a member of several Boards, including Oman Arab Bank, National Training Fund and Oman Switzerland Friendship Association. He holds the position of Chairman of Fund for the Development of Youth Projects (Sharakah), and Vice-Chairman of both the National Finance Company and the National College of Automotive Technology. He is also a Member of the Advisory Committee for the National CEO Program. He previously held the position of Chairman at OMINVEST and served on the Boards of Commercial Bank of Oman, Muscat Finance Company and FINCORP. He was nominated by the Government to represent the Private Sector on the Boards of Government-owned Hotels. He represented the Oman Chamber of Commerce & Industry as a member of the team for meetings of the Indian Ocean Rim – Association for Regional Co-operation, and also served on the regional board of the Young Arab Leaders.
