Mr. Said Saif Al Maskri

Said started his professional career with Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) in 2004 as a well engineer. He passed his Shell Well Engineering qualifications and within 3 years was posted as a Drilling Supervisor in the deserts of Oman. After few years of operations management, he relocated to Muscat and was appointed as a contract holder for well services, and handled several key contracts (e.g. Slumberger, Halliburton, and IPC) and was heavily involved in negotiating long term contracts. During this period (2009-2012), Said completed his MBA with the University of Strathclyde, with a thesis focused on studying the challenges facing entrepreneurs accessing finance. In 2013, Said resigned from PDO and joined Composite Pipes Industry (CPI) as a general manager. The company provides state-of-the-are composite pipes and corrosion solutions to oil operators. They started expanding their offerings and in the last 3 years supplied our products to Australia, Kuwait, UAE, KSA and naturally continued to serve the Omani market. The company went from total dependency on 1 major client to currently serving multiple big clients both inside and outside Oman. This was achieved through initially shrinking the company to its core capabilities, realigning the priorities, and then moving forward with a clear strategy to capture market share organically. Currently, Said is the General Manager at Composite Pipes Industry and sits on the board of Intertech Systems, an IT company, and was involved in a full turnaround activity that shifted the company from severe losses to growth and prosperity. He also teaches Scenario Planning on behalf of Strathclyde University for their MBA program in Oman.

Mr. Said Salim Al Hajri

Said Al Hajri is an entrepreneur who has founded few companies. He is a founder of Vision Advanced Petroleum Solutions (VAPS) is a consultancy company that is providing petroleum engineering solutions to oil companies. In addition, VAPS has built first ever regional laboratory for hydrocarbon analysis PVT in Oman. He is also a founder of United Business LLC which is a holding company for several chemical manufacturing and supplying company for hydrocarbon and aluminium industries. Previously, Said took several positions in PDO as petroleum engineer, well services activities manager & new oil team leader. He graduated with honors from Imperial Collage with a dual degree in Mechanical Engineering and Master degree in Petroleum Engineering. He is also a graduate of The National CEO program from IMD. On another dimension, as a contribution to the society, Said have worked as a volunteer lecturer in Higher College of Technology teaching petroleum production engineering for the undergraduate program for four consecutive years. In addition, Said was MTC member of Oman Rail Company where he contributes in putting contracting strategies, ensuring the contracting process is fair & transparent. Also Said was an investment committee member of Oman National Investments Development Company. Currently is independent board director of Galfar Engineering, Oman Shipping Company, Civil Aviation Authority and Oman Development Mining.

Mr. Said Salim Al Shanfari

Said has over 15 years experience working in leadership roles in telecommunication sector across Oman and UAE. He currently holds the position of CEO at Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre in Oman. Prior to his current role, Said was the General Manager of Consumer Marketing at the Oman Telecommunications Company (Omantel). Omantel is the first telecommunications company in Oman and 51% government ownership. Before taking up his current role, Said served 8 successful years in the Omani Qatari Telecommunication Company from 2008 till 2016. During this period he has held various management positions including; Director of Business Marketing (2013-2016), Department Head of Business Development (2011-2013) and Team Leader of Products & Services (2008-2011) From (2006 -2008), he worked at Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company (DU) as product manager mainly responsible to design new innovative services and promotions for prepaid segment. He was part of the international startup team that prepared the company to launch in 2006. In 2003 he worked at the Information and Telecommunication Research Center as Executive Officer for two years and after in 2005 at Oman mobile as Product Developer.

Al Shanfari holds two B.A. degrees in Computer Management Information System and International Business from Southern Illinois University USA in (2002). He has MBA from Hull University UK in (2007). He is member of the Middle East Leadership Academy since 2013 and also services as bored member for 2 years.

Mr. Salah Salim Al Gazali

As Sr Advisor at OMRAN, Salah brings extensive experience gained within the investment arena from the public and private sectors. During a career spanning 22years, Salah has been involved in promoting Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) within the Real Estate, Manufacturing and Tourism sectors. Prior to his role at OMRAN, Salah led the Investment Strategy Development team at the Public Authority for Investment Promotion and Export Development (Ithraa), where he identified potential projects and sectors in the Sultanate and established partnerships between international investors and local companies.

Mr. Sulaiman Said Al Lamki

Mr. Sulaiman has over 25 years of extensive experience in global financial institutions. Mr. Sulaiman has held leadership roles covering Risk Management, Structured Finance, Investment Banking, Investment Management, Sovereign Wealth Funds and Financial Accounting Standards and Audit Assurance. He is a UK qualified chartered accountant

Mr. Talal Saif Al Subhi

Talal is currently serving as the Executive Director at Emdaad Petroleum Services & Projects LLC and a Board Member of the Oman American Business Center in addition to 2 other companies. In 2016 gave TED-X Talk in Oman. Also in the past, represented major public entities by election, including PDO’s Omani Staff Committee, The Omani Society of Engineers, and SPE.

Talal holds Masters of Engineering from Herriot-Watt University, and BSc from University of Tulsa, Ok. USA. Graduate of the National CEO Program 2017. Talal S. AlSubhi is a veteran Petroleum Engineer with 23 years Experience in the Oil & Gas Industry, and a serial entrepreneur that successfully established and currently running four companies with International Operations covering MENA & Far East regions. Most recent company now operates the first of its kind Omani Telecom/Power Towers manufacturing plant as a JV with Rohn Int’l Products. As seasoned professional engineer, Talal has a passion to bring about to the Oman market New Technologies and Innovative solutions that elevates Efficiency and bring savings with it. Experience covers working and managing Full field development planning and operations (PDO), economic and planning for a major international co. (Oxy Oman-5 years), and introducing new technologies such as PCP’s, Super Modular Tanks, Pipe Towers, High Insulation material as examples. Dr. Zayid Khamis Al Siyabi

Dr. Al Siyabi is the New Ventures Director at CC Energy Limited. Dr. Al Siyabi also acts as the link between all subsidiaries of the Consolidated Contractor Company, CCC, and all stakeholders in Oman and sits in the Board of various CCC affiliates. A well versed professional, Dr. Al Siyabi has more than 27 years of work experience in senior management, technical and chaired Boards, Joint Management Committees, JMC, Tenders, HR, Audits and Finance committees in both the Oil, Gas and Energy sectors. Dr. Al Siyabi had participated and lead negotiations for mega projects in Oman, including Production Sharing Agreements, Technology Cooperation Agreements, Operations Services Agreements, Shared Facilities Agreements, Gas Sales Purchase Agreements, Revenue Distribution Agreement and others types of agreement and contracts. He was the Executive Chairman of two of Oman Oil and Gas flagship conferences and Exhibition. Recently, Dr. Al Siyabi was tasked to expand the CCC business in Oman and spearheaded the establishment of CCC Insurance Brokering Services, Oilfield Services and Utilities Services. Dr. Al Siyabi holds a BSc in Petroleum Engineering and Applied Mathematics from The University of Tulsa and MEng and PhD in Petroleum Engineering from Heriot Watt University, as well as Executive Certificate from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, MIT, and National CEO Program certificate from Institute of International Management Development , IMD.

Mr. Adel Mubarak Said Al Foory

Adel holds a Master of Business Administration from the UK as of February 2008 and a B. Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the US as of August 2000. He currently possesses 23 years of engineering, finance, and management experience. He had completed National CEO program in 2019, and prior to that he attended London Business School's Emerging Leaders program for six-month, and J.P. Morgan Bank's program “Investment & Asset Management for MENA Leaders” for one month. Additionally, he attended 14 modules of corporate finance from the Genesis Institute in Dubai for six months, and he holds many other credentials. Adel has very good experience in management and finance and has worked for Petroleum Development Oman in a variety of capacities, including Front office Manager of the Strategic Finance Directorate, Head of Business Planning & Economics in the Gas Directorate, Investment Manager, and in the Oman Oil Company was the Strategy and Performance Manager. Currently, he oversees PDO-Services' commercial operations as commercial lead.

Mr. Ahmed Salim Al Barashdi

Ahmed joined ASAAS as Director Finance and executive management team member in 2015. Before joining ASAAS, Ahmed worked for Exova Plc (World Leader in Material Testing Field) in the capacity of General Manager and Finance Manager for Oman operation. Prior to that, he assumed senior positions in finance with various Oil and Gas and telecom industries. Ahmed has 20 years of experience in accounting, finance, and general management disciplines and has a proven track record in delivering growth in highly competitive and customer focused markets. Ahmed has also worked for Occidental Oman Inc in the capacity of Budgeting and Reporting Lead responsible for financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, modelling and financial analysis. Ahmed is currently working for Oman Shell as Finance Manager. Ahmed Holds BS in accounting from Sultan Qaboos University and earned MBA from Strathclyde University.

Mr. Ahmed Said Al Harthi

Ahmed AL Harthi  is a Chief Supply Officer (CSO) at Rural Areas Electricity Company. He contributes toward the organization strategy development and preparation of annual business plan for RAEC as well as driving and overseeing the development of customer services business strategy and identify key focus areas.

In addition to the above, Ahmad was a Senior Manager Regulatory Compliance at Rural Areas Electricity Company. He was the focal point with the Authority for Electricity Regulation in all matters related to the company license, regulatory affairs, and compliance.

One of the major roles that Ahmed took was the development of the company price controls regulations “Price Cap Regulations” to determine the company maximum allowed revenue and financial subsidy entitlements.

In 2000, Ahmed was an Economic researcher in Ministry of Electricity & Water in Privatization department. In 2002, he was seconded to the Ministry of National Economy to work on the restructuring and privatization of electricity & related water sector. The work included the development of the electricity sector law and licenses that are granted to the successor companies. In 2005, Ahmed started to work in the Authority for Electricity Regulation as a Sr. Regulatory Economist with main responsibilities including the development and review of price controls mechanism, electricity & water bulk supply tariff, economic & financial analysis of the electricity company’s data.

Mr. Ali Said Al Araimi

Ali Al Araimi is the General Manager with Oman Dates Development Company. Prior to taking this position he was a member of the board and deputy managing director of Middle East Education Services, a leading education investment company with investment in schools, higher education, and vocational and professional education institutions. Additionally, he holds the position of deputy managing director in Middle East College, and member of o board of directors in Asian Institute of Design, India.

Ali accumulated over 15 years of experience in the fields of education management and leadership. he holds an undergraduate degree in Finance From Sultan Qaboos University, Oman, and Postgraduate degree in management learning and leadership from Lancaster University, UK.

Mr. Ali Bakhit Kashoob

Ali Bakhit Kashoob is the Senior Manager Product Development, Corporate at Oman Telecommunications Company (Omantel). He has demonstrated expertise in building and directing top-performing teams with track record within a challenging and a competitive market. In addition to BSc in Information Systems, Ali has an MBA focusing on Strategy and joined the National CEO Program. In addition, he is a part time lecturer at Sultan Qaboos University and Strathclyde Business School.

Ali has being working for nearly a decade in one of the most competitive industries in Oman, Telecommunications. This has shaped his way of thinking and attitude to always peruse results, keep an eye on competition and quite often, make decisions under uncertainties.

Working in marketing had giving him a wide range of skills as it was the engine driving the entire business of any telecom company. He has climbed the managerial ladder starting as an acting section head, till this date where he is a Senior Manager of Product Development and in charge of Market Communications and Events as well. This wide scope requires a person with leadership qualities, great communication skills, a good negotiator.
