Ali Qasim Mohamed AlLawati is the Chief Operating Officer of the First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) Oman (Formally National Bank of Abu Dhabi & NBAD). He joined FAB, one of the largest banking institutions in the GCC, in 2007, as a system analyst and programmer. Within the Information Technology Division, he then held various leadership positions in Oman and Abu Dhabi, including Team Leader, Group Leader of the Business Applications Unit and Head of ITD and Administration. Prior to this, Mr. Al Lawati worked at the National Bank of Oman and Bank Muscat, where he started his professional life in 2003 as an Internet Banking Administrator. Mr. Al Lawati graduated in Computer Information Systems from The University of the Pacific, Stockton, California, USA, and earned an Executive Master in Business Administration from the University of Bedfordshire, UK.
