Amal has more than 20 years of experience in the government sector, she is currently the Director General of of Occupational & Curricula Development at the Ministry of Manpower, which supervises the private training institutions. She previously held the position of Assistant Director General of Vocational Training and Assistant Director General of Technical Education.
Amal has academic experience in technical colleges where she joined the Ministry of Manpower in 2005 as a lecturer and then held the position of Head of Information Technology at the Higher College of Technology.
In addition to the current position, Amal is representing the Ministry in the Economic Diversification Program and leads the team that supervises the initiatives of the Labor Market Laboratory and the Ministry of Labor. Moreover she also represents the Ministry in several committees, including the Higher Education Law Drafting Committee, the National Education Framework Committee, And the Ministry of Manpower in the Council of the Scientific Research Authority. In addition to some joint committees with the Ministry of Education and the Council of Education and the Ministry of Civil Service. Amal holds a PhD in information technology and a master's degree Operations and Applied Statistics and bachelor's degree research in the field of mathematics.
