Bayan, a co-founder of Rusafa Bookstore, has a bachelor's degree in urban planning and architecture from the German University of Technology. She is working now as an architectural designer at the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth. Her team won first place at the Bilarab Bin Haitham Award for Architectural Design in February 2023. They were recognised for their exceptional design of the Sultanate of Oman Pavilion at Expo 2025 in Osaka, Japan.
