Dr. Faras Mohamed Al Lawati is the Managing Director at Mazoon Development & Investment. As Managing Director, Dr. Faras is a dedicated leader with comprehensive experience in managing organizations in both private & public sectors, who demonstrated the ability to set goals and strategies for the company and train, manage and motivate team members to achieve those objectives. He uses leadership skills to motivate employees and enhance productivity and efficiency to fulfil organizational mission and growth. Dr. Faras, brings with him an 18 years' experience in leadership in different top management levels, having an extensive track record in diverse businesses management & large-scale operations. Prior to taking the Managing Director Position at Mazoon Development & Investment. He was the GM HR & Support Services in Al Hassan Engineering company for 11 years responsible of aligning the organizational needs to its various functions. He has brought about a remarkable improvement in the workflow processes and employee services. He even introduced initiatives such Management Trainees and Vocational Trainee programs for Nationals, Talent Management Program, All Ideas Matter to improve the knowledge quotient, Taskforce to ensure collaborative approach and improve policies. Process Improvement in Plant, Fabrication workshop and IT was the key area where he has focused in past years and brought it at a level where the company is reaping its benefits. Prior to that, he was in the role of Director General for Khoula Hospital, where he worked for 6 years. His experience in this role involved Human Resources, Projects, IT, Assets, Procurement management along with strategic planning and quality improvement measures. Through participative leadership, he administered change in the functioning of the Hospital. He has also discharged his duties as administrative personnel at Community Medical Centre, USA. He had started his professional career as a General Practitioner at Ministry of Health. Dr. Faras graduate of National CEO program. He holds a master's degree in healthcare management from PA, USA and MD-Degree in Medicine and Graduated in Basic Health Science from Sultan Qaboos University, Oman. He also has professional certifications of Hospital Management Development Program, Leadership from Ministry of Health, Oman, Human Resources Certification Program Professional Level.
