Alsayyid Hamed Al-Busaidi has over 16 years of work experience. He is the Director General of Communications and Information Systems at the Diwan of Royal Court since 2013. Alsayyid Hamed is a board member at the institute of capability development, the vice chairman of the digital transformation committee, and the chairman of a committee of studying and analyzing ideas and suggestions at the Diwan of Royal Court. In addition, he is the chairman of the recruitment and selection committee at Diwan of Royal Court, board member of the advanced cyber security academy and a member of IS advisory board at Sultan Qaboos University.
Alsayyid Hamed has received a Letter of Appreciation from His Excellency Al-Sayyid Khalid Bin Hilal AL-Busaidi, Minister of Diwan of Royal Court for his PhD Studies in 2013, received a Letter of Appreciation from the Victoria University stating that he has completed his PhD studies within a shorter period of time than would normally be expected as a part-time enrolled student.
In addition, he has been awarded in 2008 a Certificate of Appreciation from the Consul General in Australia & Ministry of Higher Education in Oman in recognition of the outstanding efforts and the contribution he has made to the Omani Students Society of Victoria when he was the President of the Omani Students Society of Victoria, Australia from 2007 – 2008. In 1995 and 1996, Alsayyid Hamed earned Two Certificates of Merit, from Florida Institute of Technology, USA. He completed his PhD studies in information systems; mobile government from Melbourne, Australia, Master’s Degree in information security from UK and Bachelor’s Degree in computer engineering from the USA.
