Naif Al-Abri is currently the President of Civil Aviation Authority, Oman since August 2021. Naif was the Executive Director at Oman Ground Handling and the Acting CEO of TRANSOM. He comes on board with a rich and successful 20 years of experience with different developed projects in the country. Been associated with national career Oman Air during 2003-2010, handled different roles most notably Assistant Manager Development Engineering achieved many projects with development and strategy. He moved to a different role with Oman Power and Water procurement Company (OPWP) as a project development manager since 2013, he amplified his business knowledge and enhanced strategic capabilities to handle major projects managed in a global business context. Naif Al Abri held a place of the director of Projects Development at OPWP and now is the Executive Director at Oman Ground handling. He is a strong believer in the power of positive thinking in the workplace. He regularly develops and undertakes structural development projects and hence lead the team towards achieving the scope of work and project milestones on time aligned with mission and vision of the organization. Naif Al Abri received a Masters degree in Management and Leadership (MBA) from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow UK. As well as Bachelors of the engineering from the University of West England, Bristol UK and a Certificate from Nottingham University.
