About Me
Salah Al-Masroori has long practical experience in the public and private sectors, and currently holds the position of Business Development Consultant at the Al-Qalhati and Al-Masroori Advocates & legal Consultancy. Salah Al-Masroori began his short-term career at the Eastern Holding Investment Company and Housing Solidarity Bank. In 1998, he joined the Ministry of Commerce and Industry in a number of jobs, filling the post of Assistant Director-General for Administration and Finance and the post of Assistant Director-General for Planning and Follow-up. In 2014, he joined the Public Authority for Mining, charged with establishing the administrative and financial machinery of the Authority and occupying the post of Director-General for Administration and Financial Affairs until his retirement from the Government post in 2019, after which he provided a number of technical services as an expert for project management and change in the Public Authority for Mining and the Ministry of Energy and Minerals, particularly in the areas of environmental conservation, community responsibility of mining companies and empowerment of small and medium-sized enterprises in the mining sector. Salah Al-Masroori is also engaged in his own business in the areas of information technology, security systems and smart buildings. During his period of government service, Salah Al-Masroori participated in the membership of several vital committees, councils and projects, such as the Business Re-engineering Project of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, the Human Resources Investment Project, Oman Mining Strategy Project, the Project for the Establishment of an Electronic Mining Platform, the Project for the Control and Inspection of Mining Enterprises and the Quality Management Project, the Project for the Preparation and Drafting of the Civil Service Law, the Project for the General Census of Population, Housing and Construction in 2010 as the General Supervisor of the City of Boucher, and contributed to the writing of a number of entries in the Omani encyclopaedia, in exchange for being an activist in volunteer work and environmental conservation. Salah Al-Masroori graduated from Sultan Qaboos University in 1997 from archaeology, and got MBA degree from the University of Griffith, Australia, in 2013.
