Mr. Mohammed Aufait Al Mashani

Mohammed, a native of Taqah, Dhofar, holds a BSc in Safety Management from Central Missouri State University, USA, and an MSc in Facilities Management and Asset Maintenance from Herriot-Watt University, UK. He completed a CPMD program through APM Terminals in collaboration with ESADE Business School, Spain. Over the past 18 years, Mohammed has cultivated a diverse professional background in Oman, contributing to the Oil and Gas sector with PDO in logistics and HSE, and to Petrochemicals with Aromatics Oman. In 2008, Mohammed became an integral part of the Port of Salalah, where he currently serves as the General Director. In this capacity, he spearheads business strategies and makes crucial decisions to align with the company's overarching vision and mission. A seasoned management professional, Mohammed boasts a track record of year-on-year success, consistently achieving business objectives, particularly within startup environments. Mr. Mohammed Sadek Sulaiman

Mohammed is the general Manager at OQ. He joined this position after he was the Head of Investment at Private Markets at TANMIA, an Omani investment company established by Royal Decree in 1998, where he manages TANMIA’s portfolio of direct investments. TANMIA’s direct investments span many sectors in Oman, including retail, Islamic and conventional financial services, hospitality, manufacturing, petrochemicals and automotive services.

TANMIA is a founder of many major Omani companies, including Asaas, Bank Nizwa, Omani Hospitality Company, Octal Petrochemicals, the Wave Muscat, Oman Investment Corporation, Al Meera Markets and Oman Porcelain SAOC. Mohammed is currently also a Board Member of Asaas (Oman), Al Meera Markets, Opal Marketing, Omani Hospitality Company, and Al Namaa Poultry.

Mohammed was educated in the United States, where he completed his BA in 1994 at Emory University in Atlanta, GA. and his MA in 2000 at American University in Washington, DC.

Mr. Nasser Massuod Al Shibani

Nasser Al Sheibani was recently appointed Chief Executive Officer of Al Mouj Muscat, Oman & pioneering Integrated Tourism Complex, after serving as Chief Financial Officer of the Company since 2014. Nasser has over fifteen years of experience in property development, hotels, banking, and oil and gas sectors. Through this experience, he has developed significant skills in management, strategy, development management, information technology, human resources, asset management and finance & accounting. Al Sheibani takes great pride in delivering results and has demonstrated a strong commitment to excellence, being awarded the Directorate Award and the Chairman & Award for Excellence during his tenure at Petroleum Development Oman. He is a Non-Executive Director of Oman Investment Finance Company and an Audit Committee Member. Nasser graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Finance from Sultan Qaboos University, and has attended various executive education and leadership programs

Mr. Sami Muhsin Al Shiekh

Sami AL Shiekh is a Partner at Nafal Business Services LLC. He is a multicultural Patriotic leader who thrives in inspiring others to achieve set objectives and goals. Raised in Oman, he has demonstrated the ability to work with people of various cultures and religions.

After receiving his University degree from the U.S.A in 2002, he has sharpened his leadership abilities while inspiring and challenging teams to achieve objectives against difficult odds. He has gained great success working in hospitality operations, retail, distribution, human resources and general management roles through out his career.

After leaving the corporate environment, he returned to his passion of working in hospitality and restaurants, laying the foundation for his company to advance to the forefront of the Food & Beverage sector in Oman. Sami is also a business consultant for a new Oil & Gas Exploration and Production company that has been awarded a concession to drill in the Sultanate with a different business model than traditional operators in Oman. He actively seeks challenges and opportunities and to use his skills for the benefit of Oman.

Mr. Saud Said Al Shidhani

Saud AL Shidhani is an experienced and highly motivated professional with a sound corporate and retail banking experience in multiple domains of Banking Operations, IT, Policies and procedures, Risk Management, Product Development and Balance Sheet Management. He has demonstrated proficiency in the formulation and implementation of business strategies and growth and fulfilling multiple commitments whilst operating in diverse and demanding environments. Said is currently working as General Manager and Chief Operating Officer at HSBC Oman managing 250 staff in Service Delivery, IT, Procurement, Real Estate, Risk and Admin and Global Standard.

Saud has also worked in National Bank of Oman for over 16 years in various capacities including roles as the Head of Operations and Country Manager in Egypt.

Saud key areas of strength include: result-orientated approach, ACTION, planning and implementation, optimizing performance and increasing the top line without losing sight of the bottom line.

Saud holds an MBA from ESC Rennes School of Business in France, a Banking and Finance Diploma from the College of Banking, and a Management Diploma from Cambridge University UK. He has also completed Essential Leadership program from London Business School.

Mr. Yaqoub Saif Al Kiyumi

Yaqoob Al Kiyumi is currently working as Chief Executive Officer in Oman Power and Water Procurement Company (OPWP). The portfolio of the job includes the production of a seven yearly Power Demand Forecast for Oman on annual basis and the management of Project Development & Implementation of all new IPP/IWPs in Oman as well as the management of contracts associated with the procurement of power and desalinated water.

Yaqoob has achieved success in roles with different industries which helped facilitate his career growth. He has diverse experience in the Oil & gas industry having previously worked in both PDO and OXY Oman. He also gained vast exposure to the manufacturing industry through his work with Sohar Aluminum smelter for over 7 years.

Yaqoob holds a BEng degree in Mechanical Engineering from Coventry University in the UK and a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from the University of Hull.

Mr. Ahmed Amer Al Mahrazi

Ahmed Al Mahrizi comes with extensive experience in leadership roles, with proven successful track record of starting up new businesses and the ability to deliver business growth through the delivery of exceptional and consistent customer propositions and experiences. Al Mahrizi possesses a wealth of mobile telecom experiences in multiple-geographies; Oman, UAE, KSA, Jordan, Malaysia & South Africa.

Ahmed Al Mahrizi currently holds the position of General Manager - Water Sector Restructuring at Electricity Holding Company after he was the Group Vice President – Customer Care at Virgin Mobile Middle East and Africa, which is part of a globally renowned Virgin Group founded by Sir Richard Branson. For the past 7 years, Al Mahrizi has been a key instrument in starting up and launching new mobile telecom providers in the MEA region as part of his current role. Prior to this position, Al Mahrizi has held various management positions in the telecom sector in Oman as part of working with Nawras and FRiENDi mobile, and has directly contributed o the achievements of lots of telecom arena breakthroughs in Oman.

Al Mahriz is a graduate of Sultan Qaboos University and holds a bachelor’s degree from college of commerce and economics. He has also attended executive leadership courses in Switzerland and Singapore at IMD.

Mr. Ahmed Mohammed Al Sabahi

Ahmed is the CEO at Al Majal Environmental & Technical Services. Al Sabahi has 27-years+ experience in strategic & Business planning, Environmental management, Sustainable Development, Driving growth and revenue, analyzing operating cost and operation efficiency, contracts managements, Projects managements & Development of policies and strategies dedicated to Environment & natural resources sectors.

Throughout 27-year work experience, Ahmed held various senior positions including Ministry of Environment, Director of inspection and control, with wide scope including business strategies development, Business planning, Budget development and management & Human resource development. Ahmed received a number of awards during his professional life. At be’ah, Ahmed is responsible primarily for municipal waste planning, waste Sector take-over from the government, Development & Implementation of infrastructure and operation projects, Projects Management, Integration and coordination, in addition to leading Operation Efficiency & optimization.

Ahmed is a member of number of organizations including Association of Strategic Planning, ISWA, Toastmaster international, Ahmed is founding member of Oman Environmental Society (ESO) & Oman Water Society (OWS). Ahmed enjoys networking, new business set-up, Development of SME’s & Development of Talented people.

Mr. Ali Abullah Al Motaawa

Ali Al Muttawa is the Managing Director of Golden Jeed Trading LLC and group of SME’s at North Al Batinah regions (Sohar). He is leading different SME companies under hospitality and logistics sectors. He believes that SME’s play major role in Oman economy by providing employment opportunities and contributing to country GDP. Ali has graduated from Sultan Qaboos University in 2001 with a bachelor degree in Computer Science from College of Science. After receiving his education, Ali worked as SAP support for Al Amjad LLC supporting PDO in deploying SAP system at well engineering department.

In February 2002, Ali joined Halliburton Worldwide Limited LTD as a trainee “Oil Field Engineer”. Working with different nationalities and all over Oman’s Oil fields, he became operation leader in 5 years running PDO & Oxy operations. After two years, Ali been promoted as “Business Development Accounts Manager” with the responsibility of working on tenders, contracts and negotiating different related issues with major oil operators in Oman.

In November 2009, Ali left Halliburton and founded the first 100% Omani company providing “Gyro Services” serving Oil & Gas operators. The company “Gas Way LLC” won a 7 years contract with PDO and currently growing and expanding their scope to telecommunications and manufacturing sectors.

In July 2011 and due to family reasons, Ali moved back to his hometown “Sohar”. He joined a group of SME’s as a managing partner providing hospitality services. During his past six years, he managed to triple the group size in terms of manpower & income. He has also established few SME’s in logistics sector to diversify the group activities.

Eng. Ali Jumaa Al Mashrafi

Ali Juma Al Mashrafi is the Founder and Chairman of Modern Engineering Services. Before taking this role, Ali was the Chief Operation Officer for the distribution at Muscat Electricity Distribution Company. Al Mashrafi is one of the strategic planners for the MEDC business plans and execution. He is responsible for all the technical aspects from the design phase till the operation phase.

A pioneer and an energetic, Al Mashrafi has more than 26 years of work experience in leadership, executive management, strategic planning,, financial, project and contract management and customer services functions and technical roles in both the Oil & Gas and utilities business. From beginning of 2014 till date, Al Mashrafi is Chief Operation Officer at MEDC. He is responsible for delivering projects worth more than $ 130 M and responsible for more than 300 staff within MEDC and more than 400 contractors staff. Prior joining MEDC, Al Mashrafi has led senior leadership positions at Oman LNG (OLNG) as he highly contributed to the success of OLNG as he started with OLNG from its foundation and he launched the Sur Town Office as the face between OLNG and the community. He started his career at the ministry of Electricity and Water as a distribution Engineer responsible for three areas in Sharqia region. Al Mashrafi is native of Sur, Oman.

Al Mashrafi holds a Master degree with distinction in Engineering Business Management (EBM) from Coventry University in 2000, UK and Master of Phil In Organizational Effectiveness ( The impact of Organization culture on Organizational Effectiveness on Omani Semi private Organizations) from Nottingham Trent University, UK in 2016 and doing Doctorate in the same field. He has a Global leadership Certificate from Thunderbird University, USA in 2006. He has an advanced certificate in management from the Charted Institute of Management (CIM) UK, holds BSc degree in Electrical Engineering from Toledo University, Ohio, USA in 1990 and is a certified professional Engineer from Ohio Society of Engineers, Ohio, USA from 1990.
