Dr Abdullah Al Maniri is currently a senior advisor at the ministry of Health, Oman. Dr Al Maniri has a PhD in epidemiology from Karolinska Institute, Sweden. During the period from 2015 to 2021, Dr Al Maniri Was working as the director of strategy and planning at Oman Medical Specialty Board (OMSB). Prior his employment at OMSB, Dr AL Maniri was a director of The Road Safety Research Program at The Research Council and an assistant professor at the Department of Family Medicine and Public Health at Sultan Qaboos University. Dr Al Maniri supervised several master and PhD students and has around 60 publications in local and international peer-review journals.
