Sheikh Yousuf Yaqoob Al Harthi, Managing Director of Mazoun Electro-Mechanical Company LLC holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Management from the United States having graduated in 1987. Ever since he has been a Partner/Promoter of various industries in the Sultanate of Oman which recognizes the market potential and ready to embrace new opportunities and driven to deliver exceptional value. The Mazoun Group, of which Mazoun Electro-Mechanical Company LLC is a part, has progressed with the country into projects ranging from manufacturing, oil field supplies, desalination technology, electro-mechanical works, supply of stadium and other seating solutions and real estate. He has been a member of the Board of Directors of different companies in Oman including the first Islamic Bank – Bank Nizwa and in the past United Finance Company, etc. He has also been on various Committees, Councils, Associations and Cultural Clubs.

Abdullah Saif Al-Hadi

Engineer Abdullah is the Managing Director & Acting Chief Executive Officer at Abraj Energy Services SAOC. He was born and raised in Muscat, he completed his entire education including his degree in civil engineering in Oman. With over 22 years of experience in different management positions in the Oil and Gas industry. During his early career after graduating from SQU as civil engineer, Abdullah switched his career to well engineering starting as a drilling supervisor, later becoming a new technology project engineer introducing new technologies in the well engineer and senior well engineer.

Abdullah is one of the founders for a new company (Abraj) in 2006 in a highly competitive market dominated by international companies and was able to build the company into a recognized name in the drilling services industry. His contributions to the industry been recognised when elected as Chairman of DOIRC (Drilling Operation Incident Review Committee) and LSF (Leaders on Safety Forum) during 2013-2015.

The current role as MD been assigned to him in July 2015 after the collapse of Oil and Gas Industry due to the oil price where he successful transform the company through structured and strategic approach.

Abdulmalik Abdulkarim Al-Balushi

Ms. Abeer Mohammed Al Abdwani

Abeer obtained her college degree from the Richmond College in the U.K. in 1990 and her MBA in 2006 from Strathclyde University. Abeer started her career as a research analyst at the Muscat Securities Market, but went on to specialize in private equity investments. She worked for the State General Reserve Fund for 12 years and was responsible for the Global private equity investments. Following that she worked for seven years in private equity investments in Oman in companies such as Tanmia, Oman Oil Company and Oman Brunei Investment Company.

Within her career she was also able to successfully start and lead new companies. In 2008, she was appointed the General Manager of GroFin Oman (Subsidiary of GroFin in South Africa) and set up the company including recruiting, staff, operation, marketing and providing financing to SMEs in Oman. In 2010, she was appointed as the CEO of Oman Brunei Investment Company (OBIC) a private equity company set up in Muscat with US$ 100 million capital. Whilst at OBIC, and with board approval, she set up the business plan and strategy and managed the operation of the company. The company had a proactive investment strategy and invested in different stages of business including start ups, turnarounds and mature private equity companies. In addition, the investment spectrum was diverse and included several sectors including: telecom, hospitality, manufacturing, and aviation leasing.

Eng. Adnan Mohammed Al Alawi

Adnan is the CEO of Awasr Telecom, the third largest fixed network telecom operator in Oman, formally he was the CEO of Oman Dates Production and Packaging Company & the Co-Founder and COO of FRiENDi mobile in Oman the largest virtual mobile service provider. As a co-founder of the company he has been part of its operation since inception, making it the first Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) in the Middle East. Prior to this, Mr. Al-Alawi has been working for various local and international companies such as Communication by Computers Ltd in UK as a computer sales consultant, Realtime in Denmark as a key account manager and as a chief engineer at the College of Engineering in Sultan Qaboos University College of Engineering. Adnan is an Omani National Raised in Muscat a native of Al Sharqiyah South region. He holds a Master Degree in Marketing Practice & a Bachelors Degree of Engineering in Electronic, Communication & Computer Engineering from the University of Bradford in UK. He is an expert and confident executive offering progressive and proven leadership experience, focused on achieving positive results with a demonstrated record of creating and implementing innovative operational improvement and process changes.

Mr. Ahmed Saleh Al Shaibani

Ahmed Al-Shaibani is the Project Manager & Internal Audit Manager at Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) after he has been the project manager of a Ras Al Hamra Development Project for PDO since April 2014, a mega mixed-use real estate a role. Ahmed is a graduate of University of Leeds, UK where he received a BA in Mechanical Engineering; he is also a Shell Project Academy Certified project portfolio manager and a professional member of the Project Management Institute (PMI). After graduation Ahmed joined PDO in 1998 and worked as an oilfield mechanical engineer. In 2001 he transferred to project management and after successfully managing number of business critical projects he was appointed as head of the South Oman Project Services team in 2005. During Ahmed’s two years in the role he managed to develop and implement enhanced project controls and planning capabilities throughout the business unit. In 2007 he was appointed as head of the Marmul Oilfield Cluster project and promoted to the leadership team. In 2010 Ahmed was nominated for a cross-posting opportunity to Brunei Shell Petroleum where he headed the On-Shore Projects team and successfully managed to deliver a number of business critical projects. On his return to PDO in 2013 he was appointed as the project manager for the Amin Oilfield Development Project, which is one of Shell’s top 70 projects globally.

Ms. Aisha Abdullah Al Kharusi

Mr. Ali Nasser Al Rasbi

Ali Al rasbi is a seasoned executive worked as CEO and General Manager for a number of companies, most recent is International Seafood Company SAOC. Graduated 1991, Ali joined Marmul engineering team, the capital of the south PDO unit amidst a period that housed hundreds of highly specialized technical staff with a great amount of engineering, construction and project management expertise. At the age of 26, he was promoted to construction coordinator leave reliever supervising a vibrant multi-disciplinary team. Al Rasbi joined the Mukhiazna cold development team in 1997 as head of construction, responsible for half of the project surface development as well as full site construction management. He decided to look for more challenges and joined a team of handful of engineers to incept Oman Gas Company that has become the prime midstream gas transportation company of OQGN. In 2010 Al Rasbi decided to take yet another leap in a completely new sector and joined Oman Tourism Development Company (Omran). Al Rasbi served as Chief Operations Officer of Omran and was responsible for strategically important functions while working as an active management team member. He also served as acting CEO between May 2015-Jan 2016. Al Rasbi then became the CEO of Muscat Gases company, a leading Omani Public Limited Company with a long track record of serving Omani households for cooking gases and medical industrial gases & trading of special gases for over two decades. He lately started a new OIA seafood manufacturing company that is targeted to create seafood value added products. AlRasbi is expert in start ups, development and transformation.

Dr. Ali Mustafa Al-Lawati

Dr. Ali Mustafa Al Lawati is the Regional Sales Manager, Indian Subcontinent at OQ. He took this position after he was the General Manager of External Relations at Shell Development Oman, reporting to the Chief Executive Officer. Al Lawati provides executive leadership to the departments designed to engage with key constituencies. A proven entrepreneur, Al Lawati has more than 16 years of work experience in executive management, strategic planning, marketing, sales, customer services functions and technical roles in both the Oil & Gas and Telecom business.

Between 2009 and 2015, Al Lawati was General Manager of Lubricants Sales at Shell Oman Marketing. He was responsible for delivering more than $17M as gross margin. Before joining Shell, Al Lawati has led senior leadership positions with both Oman Mobile & Omantel overseeing all mergers and acquisitions activities within his role as Acting GM of Marketing as well as the launch of Blackberry and 3G services in Oman.

Al Lawati is native of Muscat. He holds an MBA from University of Hull and a Doctorate in Business Administration DBA from Liverpool John Moores University. He has an advanced certificate in marketing from the Charted Institute of Marketing (CIK) UK and is a certified leader of team trainer in the region.
