Ibrahim Said Al Amri

Ibrahim Al Amri holds a BEng. Honor Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Leeds, UK, Attended Mining Resource Management (MRM) at Wits University in Johannesburg, SA and many other executive management development programs. He is also a Certified Lead Auditor for ISO 9000 Serious from DNV. Ibrahim joined MB Petroleum Services as Trainee Slick Line Operator. He moved then to fulfill various positions within MB Holding. In 10 years with MB, Ibrahim worked as Field Engineer, Quality Assurance Manager, QHSE & CSR Manager, International Projects Manager, Country Manager (Mozambique) and GM Operation in Mining. In May 2008 Ibrahim journey with Mining in Oman started and from that time he did promote mining as an industry where Omanis & can excel. He presented and attended in forums, workshops and conferences around the globe promoting for Oman readiness for Mining. In 2012, Ibrahim Joined Oman Oil Company as Project Manager in Mining and Metals Unit, where he participated in screening, negotiating and managing at Board/Steering level local and international mining projects for various commodities like Copper, Coal, Iron Ore, Bauxite, Silica, Limestone and other industrial minerals. Ibrahim is now the Chief Operations Director at Oman Flour Mills S.A.O.G.

Eng. Ishaq Mohammed Ibrahim Al Sarhani

Al Sarhni is the Head of Project Engineering at OQ Group. He provides executive leadership to the engineering departments responsible for designing and delivering mega project in the Downstream sector (oil refineries and petrochemical industries). Al Sarhni has more than 30 years of work experience in project engineering and management in both downstream and upstream sectors including oil refining, LNG, petrochemical and gas processing. Al Sarhni started his career as a project engineer at Oman Refinery and then at Oman LNG until July 2000. Between 2007 and 2010, Al Sarhni was Senior Project Manager of Oman Methanol project in Sohar following his 7 years of experience at Sohar refinery project. Al Sarhni has led the engineering teams in two mega OQ projects, namely Duqm Refinery project and Abu Tubul Block 60 gas field development project. Al Sarhni holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Sultan Qaboos University and an MBA from Hull University. Extensive international experience in Australia, UK, and recently in Spain. Strong interest in promoting safety awareness at workplace and passionate in inspiring young Omani engineers and SME entrepreneurs.

Juma Saleh Al Araimi

Juma Alaraim is an accomplished professional with a distinguished career, extensive expertise and breadth of finance, investment, strategy and commercial management experience, 19-year local and international work experience, a track record of achievements.

Mr. Alaraimi’s Professional career is split between Oman, UK, NLs and Middle East & North Africa Region (MENA) with Royal Dutch Shell and Oman LNG LLC (OLNG), one of the largest investment projects in Oman, where he demonstrated leadership in finance, investment, strategy, formulation & implementation, commercial deal making/business development, joint ventures management & governance /public-private partnership, project management, people development, and strategic management including major business re-organization and delivery of flagship projects. He has undertaken international field assignments and operated in several challenging business environments. In 2020, he was appointed by Oman Investment Authority (OIA) as board member of Oman Holding Company for Environment Services SAOC. Mr. Alaraimi is a Fellow of the Aspen Institute, a global non-profit education and policy Think Tank organization based in Washington, DC. He is an Experts Council Member at Harvard Business Review.

Mr. Alaraimi enjoys an extensive network of business community across the world. He holds MBA (UK), BSc in Business Economics (U.S.) , Degree in Near Eastern Studies (U.S.) , Executive  Education from IMD Business School, Switzerland.

Eng. Khalid Nasser Al Kindi

Driven by his endless ambitions and being eager to develop his skills, Khalid has started building his professional experience since he was a university student. From 1997, Lab technician supervisor was the first role he undertook for 3 years simultaneously while studying at the SQU. Straight after finishing his Mechanical & Industrial Engineering Degree from Sultan Qaboos University, he was employed in PDO where he worked for PDO until Jan 2008. He has moved through various roles in PDO in the technical & support functions including Well Engineering, Wells planning, materials management, Wells Contracts Holder, Planning, Contracting & Procurement and Leadership. He has also completed his MBA. With the drive of building an international experience and further enhancing his skills, he has taken the decision of joining BP in Feb 2008 when it started Khazzan Project in Oman. In BP, he has taken the roles of Supply Chain Team Leader, where he has been one of the lead contributors to building and setting up the PSCM department, processes and procedures during the startup of Khazzan project. In 2010, he has been appointed to an international role as PSCM Manager for BP in Jordan. The role included all Procurement & Contracting, Quality Management, Materials Management, Civil construction and Logistic team. In 2013, he has been appointed as Executive Advisor for the BP Middle East President where later in the year was appointed as Deputy General Manager & ICV Manager for BP Oman to help delivering Khazzan development phases, develop the Omani Talent, member in all Sub committees between BP and the government. In 2018, he has appointed as Vice President Gov Relations and is working in different special projects to support the long term business for BP in Oman in upstream and downstream (Petrochemical, Renewable Energy, growth of gas field). Currently he is the Middle East Business Transformation Manager focusing on new way of working, agility, integration of different businesses, continuous improvement and digitalization. He was a Board Member of Oman Society for Petroleum Services (OPAL) until end 2019. Member of Academy & Industrial committee for Mechanical Engineering at SQU and member of Oman business forum.

Khalil Ali Al Balushi

Khalil is the Marine Director in Oman Shipping, heading the marine division that is responsible for the safe operation of the company’s ships including safety & quality, manning and training aspects. Khalil has more than 25 years experience in the maritime logistics industry. Khalil has more than 25 years experience in the maritime industry started in the Royal Navy of Oman, then joined the merchant navy sailing worldwide on tankers. Then came ashore and was involved in ships operations and management, consultancy in maritime administration, involvement in IMO and as examiner.

Khalil currently heads the marine division and is a member of the management team. He is in charge of an annual budget of + 100 M. USD.

Khalil is the founder and chairman of Oman Maritime Association (under formation), member of Nautical Institute, and Chairman of Nautical Institute – Oman Branch. Khalil has represented Oman in IALA for 4 years, and is a member of the Maritime Advisory Committee and Examination Board for maritime studies in MOTC and Founder and Chairman of the maritime magazine in Oman “BAHHAR”

Khalil holds Post Graduate Diploma, Shipping and Logistics from Middlesex University, London and is a graduate in Nautical Science, Southampton University, UK

Ms. Manal Mohammed Al Abdawani

Manal Al Abdawani is the CEO of Sohar Food Cluster Company, an investment company providing logistics and infrastructure solutions for value chain industries and services in the food sector. With a professional practice of more than 28 years, Manal brings experience in both public and private sector. Her career work at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry allowed her the chance to be part of economic policy development, foreign investment facilitation and private sector engagement initiatives. Manal has been as well engaged in leading several companies, through directorship and chairmanship of their boards, such as Electricity Holding Company, Oman Flour Mills, and Muscat Electricity Distribution Company. Whilst shifting to a career in the private sector as CEO of SFC, Manal carries with her knowledge and experience in strategic planning, performance management and various leadership skills. Manal Al Abdawani, is a graduate of International Economics and a holder of MBA with distinction. She has attended various programs in executive leadership and corporate governance with reputed business schools such Haravard Business School, INSEAD, IoD, and IMD.

Dr. Mansoor Talib Al Hinai

Mansoor Talib Al hinai is an experienced and trained economist with solid management and administration background. After spending more than a decade in different leadership positions in the electricity sector, Mansoor is known for his ability to drive change and to create high-performance teams. He owns an unmatchable track record for driving business performance across multiple business lines with creativity and professional integrity. He is one of the few Omanis who have an academic qualification and a practical experience in managing privatization program for State Owned utilities.

Mansoor is currently the VP Distribution and Supply for the Electricity Holding Company with a turnover of more than RO 1 Billion; he is also a Board Member in several subsidiaries of the Electricity Holding Company.

Mansoor holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Birmingham in the UK, Executive MBA from Purdue University in the US, MBA from École supérieure de commerce de Paris, ESCP, in France, a Bachelor Degree in Economics from Temple University in the US and a Professional Leadership Training at IMD in Switzerland.

Mr. Mohamed Said Al Marjabi

Mohamed Al Marjabi, a highly accomplished executive and visionary thinker within the Oil & Gas industry. Mr. Mujahid Said Al-Zadjali

Mujahid Al Zadjali is the General Manager - IT & Operations at Bank Nizwa. He headed the IT, Alternate Channels and Project Management Office with a Team of over 100 people from various nationalities across the globe. He is a strategic, decisive and result oriented leader with over 18 years of professional expertise with proven track record in enhancing productivity and successfully managing major transformational initiatives such as conceptualization to implementation of Banking Technology Solutions, Delivery Channels, Strategic Planning and IT Governance. He oversees Bank-wide business transformational initiatives worth USD 20 + Million annually.

Mujahid worked in Bank Sohar since inception in 2006 and he was a Senior Member of the Executive Management Team. Prior to joining Bank Sohar he worked with Bank Dhofar for tenure of 7 years. He is a proven leader with hard-core planning skills, business vision and the ability to bring people together.

Mr. Musallam Said Al Maashani

Musallam Said Al-Maashani is the Chief Executive Officer of Al Baraka Oilfield Services SAOC Oman, reporting to the Board of Directors. Al Baraka is a reputed Oil & Gas contractor with various services including Hoist Work-over Rigs, Pipeline services, Flow-line Services, Logistics, and other O&G specialized services. Al-Maashani has over 13 years of experience. He started his career as a Professor Assistant & a Researcher in the University of Toledo, Ohio USA. Musallam then moved back to Oman to join the Oil & Gas industry with Schlumberger overseas as field technical engineer and since then he has been in the Oil & Gas industry managing multi-million projects with companies like Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) & Oman Gas Company (OGC). Mr. Musallam has worked outside the O&G industry for a short 3.5 years stint with Oman Airport Management Co as a Sr. Manager projects overseeing the development of Salalah’s state-of-the-art New Airport. Musallam is native of Dhofar. He holds an MSc & BSc in Electrical Engineering & Computer Engineering from University of Toledo, USA and an Mtech in Petroleum Engineering Technology from Curtin University, Australia.

Ms. Nadia Maqbool Al Lawati

Nadia AL Lawati is a founding member of 23 Degrees North an award winning Omani Chartered Architectural Design Studio, awards received are the National Entrepreneurship Award in 2014 and the National MEED award for best social, cultural and heritage project of the year 2016.

Nadia graduated from the Glasgow Mackintosh School of Architecture in June 2006 and became the first UK qualified female Omani Architect to achieve the Royal Institute of British Architecture (RIBA) accreditation in August 2010.

Nadia’s interest in creating sustainable cultural and environmental diversity is reinforced by her curiosity in how culture, memory and sustainability can play a positive interpretative role in architecture.

Mr. Said Nasser Al Rashdi

Said Al Rashdi is the Chief Executive Officer at Insurance House and Venture One Al Rashdi worked in the technology field for various domains such as press education utilities billing and real estate development which gave him the exposure and experience required to run a business on his own Started his career early as a freelancer designing websites for various businesses and ministries and running a computer hardware business while at secondary school During college Said worked as a webmaster up keeping the online presence for the alwatan newspaper In 1998 he joined Majlis Al Ashura as a computer technician and in 2002 moved to the ministry of higher education as Director of Information systems Saids first move to the private sector was in 2007 when he joined ONEIC as Senior Manager IT handling a department of 35 employees catering for more than 70 branches across the country In 2009 he moved to Omran as IT Director where he played a vital part in its real estate development covering its technology needs In 2014 Said founded a real estate development company Al Nasr investment and development company which swiftly became the largest developer in Al Ansab area Bausher In 2016 he partnered with few young Omani businessmen to start Sandan development one of the countrys largest real estate development companies in Oman responsible of developing Omans first private owned and developed industrial zone Said was also a fojnding member and CEO of Oman Manufacturers Association Said later founded Omans first insurance platform bima and is runing a private VC Venture One
