Mr. Amrou Adli Al Sharif

Amrou Al Sharif is an engineer turned Entrepreneur, Businessman. Amrou attended the University of Texas at Austin and holds a masters and undergraduate degree, with honours, in Mechanical Engineering. His graduate work led him to join National Instruments Engineering Leadership Program where he played multiple roles in developing the company. Recognising a market for innovative solutions to solve research and industrial challenges, Amrou founded Teclution to fill the niche in 2003. Telcutions projects, products and services range from building and racing solar cars, to unique automation systems. His role at Teclution earned Amrou various recognition including the title of Local Expert in Innovation, by the Saudi Ministry of Industry for the National Industry Strategy 2020 review session in 2009. Amrou is currently engaged in leading OLEP Karawan Limited in the role of CEO, which he co-founded and which was awarded a hydrocarbon Exploration and Production Sharing Agreement with the government of Oman in late 2015. Amrou continues to be involved with the promotion of the entrepreneurial environment by sharing his experiences and supporting growth through the various initiatives and forums in the Sultanate and the region.

HE Asila Salim Al Samsami

Asila AL Samsami is the National Manpower Supply ( EMDAD) Manager under External Affairs and Value Creation Directorate in Petroleum Development Oman, following her role as the senior manager of External Affairs in Oman Aviation Services and her role as the Senior Manager of Human Resources at Oman Aviation Handling Company and the position of Senior Manager in Administration and Projects alongside Deputy Executive Vice President of the Transition Office at Oman Air.

Asila recently led the establishment of a new subsidiary under Oman Air—Oman’s national carrier and leading Omanisation plan by creating jobs for Omani Nationals between 800-900 along with opening of the new Muscat Airport and the creation of Aviation Sector. She was one of the main executors who led the creation of the new subsidiaries of Oman Air SATS Cargo and Oman Aviation Handling Company.

Asila’s experience also covers the education sector where she worked for 12 years, mainly with the Ministry of Education and the International College of Engineering and Management as Head of Human Resources. Asila successfully established the HR business and strategic partner in ICEM and developing the overall business strategy, organisation structures, policies and KPIs as well as creating a healthy working environment in order to enhance business productivity. Asila is also a Board Member of Molecules Services Group and the International School of Protocol and Diplomacy (ISPD) in Oman. In addition, she is an active member of the Omani Society for Human Resources, Omanization Committee and the OPAL Forum. She has an extensive networking platform locally and internationally, is interested in exploring new fields and able to deliver clear and precise ideas.

Ms. Asma Ali Ramadhan Al Zadjali

Asma Al Zidjali is the DGM - Head of Banking Operations Group at Oman Arab Bank SAOC. Asma has overall 19 years of experience in a large company and various banks. She started her career in Khimji Ramdas Head Office in their Human Resources and got International Standards Organization (ISO) certification while implementing the Performance Rating project. Then she started her banking career with foreign banks Habib Bank Ltd. and National Bank of Abu Dhabi whereby she worked in Risk Management and created Credit Administration Section.

Asma joiend the the National Bank of Oman and cooperated towards their transformation journey having Corporate Credit Administration Division strengthened and being part of strategic projects related to customer service / improving turnaround times. She have joined Oman Arab Bank SAOC since last year and working on improving the credit administration role by centralizing Retail, Corporate and Islamic administration ensuring asset quality and bringing in the necessary change to have the required controls and meeting turnaround times.

Some of her career highlights are writing procedures with detailed processes related to credit administration, creating a motivational team with service culture, understanding business requirements and agreeing on the Service Level Agreement (SLA) to meet turnaround times (TATs), strategic execution through cross functional projects, being part of the bank wide Idea creation team and strategic projects with the aim of increasing controls and reducing cost.

Mr. Ghaith Mohammed Ghaith Al Darmaki

Ghaith Al Darmaki is currently Senior Vice President of IT in Oman Air. He has been involved in ICT industry for the last fourteen years. He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and holds an MBA in Engineering Business Managers from Manchester Business School, UK. He also has a Bachelor Degree in Computer Engineering from Sultan Qaboos University, Muscat. Ghaith has launched his career in 2004 in LM Ericsson Oman as a support engineer working in a different platforms & solutions; Operations Support Systems, Charging and Billing Systems, IP Multimedia Systems, and Mediation systems...etc. He has also delivered a nation-wide ICT projects and telecom projects outside Oman. Ghaith has led a new start-up telecom operator ‘’Awasr’’ as the leader and the first employee to launch the company in six months. Ghaith has also worked as a part-time instructor teaching masters’ and bachelors’ students a project management curriculum. Ghaith focuses now in designing and delivering new innovative solutions and products for Awasr Oman. Ghaith believes humility is a key leadership trait. Getting people to work together would not be achieved unless a humble leader who can attract people, and give them enough space to contribute in all tasks to realise their value. Mr. Ghalib Said Al Maamari

Ghalib S. Al Maamari was an dvisor to Oman Oil Company and the Head of Planning at Takamul Investment Company SAOC of Oman, a wholly owned subsidiary of Oman Oil Company SAOC. Besides Sohar Aluminium LLC, Mr. Al Maamari is on the Board of Directors of Muscat Gases Co. SAOG, Salalah Methanol Company & Takatuf Oman. Prior to joining Takamul, Ghalib worked previously with Oman Shipping Company and Occidental Oman Inc. He worked as a Financial Planning and Analysis Team Lead at Occidental Oman Inc. since 2006 where he was responsible for overseeing the corporate financial planning & budgeting activities. During his career with Occidental, he held several senior roles including the Support Services Team Lead position for the Oman North fields. Ghalib brings a wide range of experience in commerce, project management, and finance in the energy sector. He holds a Bachelor of Electronic Commerce and a Masters equivalent in Business Information Systems from the University of Queensland, Australia. He is also a member of The Golden Key International Honour Society since 2005.

Mr. Hamdy Mohammed Al Marhuby

As a seasoned Supply Chain and Procurement Executive, I have built a proven track record in contract and procurement management, supply chain optimization, and strategic leadership. Currently serving as the CP Marine Director at ASYAD Group in Oman since 2023, I provide strategic advice to Senior Management to develop and execute contract and procurement strategies aligned with the organization's goals. I oversee two of the largest entities under the ASYAD group - shipping and a ship dry dock - which represents the bulk of ASYAD's holdings, around 80 percent by volume of spend and revenue. My expertise lies in formulating robust policies, ensuring regulatory compliance, and minimizing organizational risks. Mr. Hani Mahmood Al Khusaibi

Hani is a seasoned Human Resources Manager with over 18 years of experience leading the Human Resources divison in various sectors. Hani worked extensively with large family groups in the Sultanate and the GCC countries, and was responsible for leading mergers, acquisitions, and exits on the human resources aspect, in various types of regional and international companies. His experience also covers sectors such as retail, real estate, automotive, food industry, poultry, meat production and shopping malls. Hani is a professional HR leader who has worked in many companies in different geographic areas over the past 18 years. He has extensive experience specializing in start-up settings, mergers and corporate restructurings. Hani started his career in the Automotive sector with the Zubair Group in the Sultanate of Oman, then he was entrusted with the tasks of leading the human resources division in the Sultanate of Oman for Majid Al Futtaim Group (Hypermarket Operations - Carrefour). He was tasked to manage and develop the human resource operations associated with express retail stores covering the GCC region. Eng. Ibrahim Mohammed Al Siyabi

Ibrahim AlSiyabi is the technical-development director at Vision Advanced Petroleum Solutions (VAPS). Ibrahim graduated with an honour degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Nottingham, UK in 2001 that was followed later by a master degree in petroleum engineering from Heriot Watt University, UK. Ibrahim technical experience in petroleum systems optimization spans over more than 22 years has awarded him a respected title in the industry where he has conducted advanced projects in Oman, Bahrain, Iraq and Thailand. Ibrahim skills in computer programming, geographical information systems and fishing is an illustration of his adaptability in learning new techniques that add value at personal and career levels. In 2008 Ibrahim and his colleague founded VAPS and over 8 years of hard work they turned the company into a well recognized provider of unique petroleum engineering services.

Imad Said Al Khaduri

Imad Said Al-Khudhuri works as VP-Business Development (Ports & Free Zones) at Asyad Group. He plays an integral role to the commercial development of the logistics sector in the Sultanate Oman. During his career Imad has worked in various companies such as Oman LNG, Oman Qatar Telecommunication Company and Oman Shipping Company. Imad has taken several roles in the companies he worked for which include roles in Finance, Marketing and Commercial.

Imad previously worked as General Manager - Corporate Planning at Oman Shipping Company. He brings his multimodal experience to Oman Global Logistics Group primarily working within the Commercial department to ensure that the Logistical Strategy for the Sultanate of Oman is integrated within the logistics sector. The Logistics sector will be a catalyst for Oman’s industrial growth as it will develop various industries and integrate them together. Identifying key business opportunities for the Logistics sector is one of the priorities that Imad is developing along with a long term strategy for the group.
